I am interested in teaching because I believe that the acquisition of knowledge can connect people of all different backgrounds, and I hope to make these connections by getting my students excited about and engaged in my lessons. The classroom I hope to create will be a place where students feel comfortable in their pursuit of knowledge. I want to expose my students to as many different resources as possible to expand their basic framework for learning new ideas, and to help shape the way they think about old ones.
